Saffy here. As you may have heard already, I've completely lost my drive for this game and my main characters, and I can't seem to fix it. I had a lot of hopes for it, and I'm sorry for dragging people down. I am dropping Luke & Sheena both which effectively puts me out of the game.

Neither of them have any belongings to pass on, and even if Luke wrote a note, you wouldn't be able to read it because of his shitty handwriting. HAHA.

It was absolutely fun to play with all of you. I wish you all the best. ♥

state of the mods + game

Let me start by saying that there will be no AC posted for the month of August. We would like to apologize for not getting this message out sooner.

At current capacity, we (the mod team) are unable to facilitate what is needed to keep this game running and floating. All three of us are struggling pretty hard through some life situations that are preventing us from typical upkeep (ie: keeping lists up to date, posting activity, running plots) as well as preventing us from encouraging community growth. Advertisement has run on a small scale, and there is little to encourage new players to come and join us here. We have gotten very small, and the general meta plot is moving much slower than we initially anticipated.

Currently, Mei does the majority of comm upkeep, while Saffy handles a good portion of our NPCing, and I (Kay) handle all plot movement, changes, and the rest of the NPCing. I am running at about 1/4th capacity between RL commitments, Mei has taken a hiatus from RP as a whole, as has Saffy.

Unfortunately, that leaves us as a game with some decisions to make.

I do not feel another mod would be able to fix the problems we are having with time management OR game interest, hence why mod applications have not opened. There is a lot that goes on with various lists that requires time I am not comfortable asking one person to assist with. Mei had a convenient schedule that allowed her to make updates to all of our pages without sacrificing leisure time. I do not believe the game is big enough to pull more than one mod from our community of players.

So, we have two options:

1. Allowing the community to fade into a sandbox, which will not see the same participation from NPCs (Dragon Mages in particular)

2. Generating a small end game for next month, and letting it close on that note.

I am going to open up this page for discussion. Some bullet points to consider from me:

- I spent nearly two years in set up to get this game ready to open, so I am not wholly comfortable passing it off to a new mod team.
- I am not opposed to trying to retool the game so it is easier to encourage more people at a later date (after I've moved out, for example) so feel free to offer ideas
- For the above reason, I am not willing to discuss the original imagined direction of the meta plot until I am certain of what the current playerbase wants for the game

We as a team would like to apologize for the incredibly short notice, but most of our personal agendas sprung up quite unexpectedly, suddenly and, inconveniently, at the same time. Both Saffy and Mei are currently unavailable to answer questions, but I will do my best to answer in their stead. If anyone has any suggestions, now is the time to bring them forward.

Sorry I've been absent, dudes. I had a very, very slow apartment moving process all through August, but I think everything is squared away (at least my former roommate told me to stop worrying about it, he's been talking to our landlord), so, I can be active again without running around crazily XD Coulda-shoulda-woulda hiatused, oh well. ~~I still have so many boxes to unpack but there's no rush on that.~~ I'll get back to tags I have for Kairi and the Master in the morn'.

hi guys! i really hate to say this but i have to drop.

there's a bunch of stuff going on right now that makes playing really hard to do! there's college coming back up in august with a new overtime job that needs some attention. squatting on characters also stinks poop.

when things wind down i'd really like to join again! until then, though. i'm sorry to those i couldn't play with, but hopefully we can keep things going when i come back!

Hello, friends! I am back after a very very long period of no internet and it sucked but thank god it's over.

Luke and Sheena are also back! Unfortunately, I dropped Yugo. That means Qilby now has no babysitter... again. Have fun, kids.

Additionally, I am dropping a bunch of my old threads since they are older than dirt and I would like to start some new things. However, if there's something I should be tagging into that I missed while in the land of No Internet, please let me know and I'll hit it up right away.

Lady of the greenflight is already confirmed as one of his victims. She will not come back via resurrection though, as she'll be dropped afterwards.

Anyone else interested in having their character killed? :D; It's a good way to find out about res sickness! This is open to all flights, which yes, that means blackflight too (though he would stop himself from killing Cynder and Sev because he likes them enough, but that's it).

If you need a reason to come across him, he's not exactly going to be discreet about hunting and slaughtering demon patrols. Lots of fire and uncontrolled shadow magic. He could also be in dire need of help against said demons, but then he'd turn on his help afterwards XD

Comment here if you're interested! I need a tally for the mods, you see ;) This will effect blackflight rep in one way or another.

(I likely won't be able to respond to this post again until midnight EST when I'm on my dinner break at work though, just fyi. So here's hoping I didn't forget anything.)

I'll be out of town through next Friday (woo beach!), and though we are supposed to have internet where we're staying, y'all know how it is not knowing if the internet'll be good or if you even have time. So after a month of JC turn-ins for rep, Mar has borrowed a nightsaber from Silverglen Retreat and will be spending the next week trying to get in touch with the other factions out there. (They're all going to try to capture him. This will annoy him, even though he expects it. But he will at least bring back word of who else is out there.)

I'll try to keep on my few existing tags, but if I fail, I'll get them when I get back.

After a lot of thought, I'm bowing out (for now!) from Warforged until I can get enough braincells to rub together and re-motivate myself. I've been struggling for a while, and it's not getting any better and I'd rather not drag things out and disappoint myself or others. I definitely intend to come back in future if time and inspiration allows!

It's been awesome fun for the time I have been here, I've loved all my CR, and folks are welcome to add/keep me on plurk over at farlichu if they wish!

Oh no it's me again.

I didn't lie about coming back, but I wasn't planning on getting a nasty cold and bronchitis that keeps me from doing anything, therefore bringing my sick week count to five. I need time to catch up after all these damned health problems, so I'm going on hiatus until the end of July.

This affects Luke, Yugo, and Sheena. They will all be on autopilot-- Luke training, Yugo doing whatever, and Sheena helping out around Silverglen. If you absolutely need a thread with one of my characters, drop me a line in a PM-- otherwise, godmode rights go to castmates.

I will still be answering NPC tags and stuff as usual, though they will take a little while until I am better.

Hey folks, Mei here with a second character I think will be a pretty good fit for this game. At least I hope she will be as I have a few plots in mind I can create with her so I guess we'll see ;)

Her name is Emma Frost and she's from Marvel's X-Men comics. She's from Earth-616 which means she's from the main continuity where everything neat happens including the Avengers picking a fight on all the X-Men sweats nervously... Seeing as she's from a fairly recent arc involving the events in both Uncanny X-Men and All-New X-Men, I don't mind keeping spoilers on the down low, just let me know. For those who are familiar with her powers, rejoice. She's been significantly nerfed canon-wise and is re-learning how to use them. For those who aren't aware of what she can do? She's a powerful psychic who enjoys dishing out unusual punishment.

Even though she's a Blacksworn, she's not exactly here to make friends so I guess she fits in with a number of the others. Huzzah. Her priorities will probably be to do enough daily quests to unlock a snazzy wardrobe while killing demons when she comes across them.

Hello everyone, Sin here with the next player plot on the horizon. This plot focuses for now on the Greensworn but will eventually spread to include the other flights over the next few months. Here are the deets:

Basically, the Greensworn are going to ~~barf~~spread green friendliness all over the elven city of Derenaar. Since the city of elven artists and entertainers don't hold any known opinion regarding the dragonsworn, the Greensworn are going to head down there with provisions and proof they can kick demon ass and ask to be friends. By doing some integrating into the city and making it their non-Sanctum home, there is good news!

The Greensworn get to be Revered by the elves of Derenaar for all their efforts and the elves will start allowing other dragonsworn into their city. The downside of this is that, for the time being, any non-Greens that cause problems or are more than just briefly passing through without helping the city out through chores and guard patrols, will be ousted from the city by the Greensworn. Yup, the elves of Derenaar are expecting the Greensworn to play babysitter for the rest of the flights.

This all is going to happen over the dates of July 12-20th while the Greensworn prove themselves to Derenaar. Anytime after than, the other flights can stop by Derenaar in their travels if they'd like. If your character does plan on gaining the ire of the elves, please let one of the Greensworn players know so we can react accordingly and expect there to be conflict.

IF ALL GOES WELL starting in August, each month Rose and a few other Greensworn are going to be trying to get another flight Friendly with Derenaar with the end goal being that all five flights be on good terms with the city. This will progress through IC contact with someone in the specific flight they choose to proposition next and then the characters from that flight needs to put in their own player plot for approval when they're ready to try to raise their rep in the city.

For the Greensworn, I have a post here where they can talk about what exactly they're going to do regarding this plot as Rose is the one ICly pushing it. Feel free to pop into it. For everyone else, if you have questions, please ask them here! I'll answer what I can.

So uuuuh. The people on my plurk know the details but simply put: long story short, my mom has cancer and she's starting her chemotherapy treatment this week. At the same time, school is a thing that is happening once again so RL is going to be pretty crazy for me for a while. Not to say I will be disappearing entirely (as I desperately need RP to keep me sane), but I'll most certainly be slow(er) for the month while hopefully things settle down.

Yeah, so. This is just a notice and forward apology for all the belated tags people are going to get through the month. Saffy here, player of Luke, Sheena, & Yugo. I went out of town to visit my mom for the first time since Christmas, then visited my great aunt in the middle of nowhere. I thought I could keep up on tags while I was there-- and I should have been able to-- but I got sick somewhere in the middle and that just messed up everything.

Some of these tags are like a week old, so I'm sorry! I'm getting back to them, including dragon mage tags. If you've been waiting on a reply for longer than 2 weeks or you need a mage somewhere, you can use the mod contact post or the appointments post on mortalforged. In the future, I'll try to give my fellow mods a little more warning so they can take over threads when I'm otherwise indisposed.

Saffy here, player of Luke and Yugo. I'm bringing in -- GASP -- A GIRL.

This is Sheena from Tales of Symphonia, and she's in the GREEN dragonflight. If you couldn't guess by her ridiculous outfit, she's a ninja and a really bad one. I mean, she's great at doing ninja stuff, as long as it doesn't involve assassinating innocent people. But she's clumsy... really clumsy.

She falls into holes all the time, is what I'm saying.

Because she is both a CRAU of Exsilium and a greensworn, I will direct you to her permissions post for dreamwalking and previous CR purposes. She roomed with Axel/Lea and Riku for several, several months and considered them her family, and she has some outside knowledge of their canon, but of course I will ignore any previous mentions/whathaveyou if it makes someone in the cast uncomfortable.

erm. yeah anyway I'm Cori, bringing you one Lloyd Irving from a ten year old cel-shaded series about discrimination and sadness called Tales of Symphonia. He's pre-Dawn of the New World and as far as Warforged goes, he is in the Red Dragonflight ~~even though I had the option of putting him in Black and it was SUPER TEMPTING~~.

Lloyd is a very trusting, happy-go-lucky sort of person who falls asleep in class (while standing) and thinks a "philanderer" might be something to eat. 8D He'll probably end up being friendly to all flights depending on how people meet him - he doesn't like bullies but if you aren't punching someone in the face when he meets you he'll probably ask how your day was and such.

Ultimately, his username is not a mistake, so uhhhhhhhh use that information as you please ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ also he's probably going to punch that Zelos guy a few times so people can look forward to that

Hey guys! Yuff here, bringing in a second character.

Meet Sora from the video game series Kingdom Hearts, also known as Disney's verison of Game of Thrones.

Seriously, nearly everyone dies and they make games at the speed of GRRM's writing.

Sora is a friendly and upbeat kid with a strong sense of justice. He lived a normal life, but everything changed when the ~~Fire Nation~~ Heartless attacked and destroyed his home. Ever since then he's been traveling worlds, fighting world-destroying forces of darkness - so this is pretty much this is another Tuesday for him.

He'll be joining the ranks of Green Flight reclassed as a Druid because lion form man. His canon point is at the end of Dream Drop Distance, which since the game came out two years ago I won't be trying too hard to avoid spoilers for people- but please let me know if you don't want to be spoiled anyway.

Hello! I am Ten and I have just acquired Cynder here. She's an itty bitty black dragon (who half the time is drawn purple, i dunno) and sister to Spyro, Legendary Heroic Dragon of Heroicness from the series named after him. She's also in the Black Dragonflight, which may or may not be awfully appropriate.
